Hi, My name is Eric!

I’m a user researcher and accessibility specialist.

Portrait drawing of Eric Kellenberger, a white male in theirs mid twenties with medium length wavy hair and a beard. Portrait was drawn digitally in black with yellow highlights.

I have 5 years of experience in research spread over 3 positions in academia, education, and government. My education is in human factors & ergonomics (M.S., San Jose State University) and cognitive science (B.S., University of California, Santa Cruz). I also have 5 years experience as a caregiver for children and adults with disabilities.

My primary research interest is in web accessibility. Basic services like employment, education, and healthcare are increasingly accessed online; to simply disregard 16% of the population living with disability is unethical (and bad business). When I conduct user research, I bring my experience as a certified accessibility professional and section 508 trusted tester.

I’m currently living in the San Francisco bay area but am willing to relocate given the right opportunity. In my free time, I mostly like to draw, read, and play soccer.
